Wow, awesome content in both 5e and OSR compatible older editions both, bought several books from him and a great guy to chat up in the vendor hall at conventions. Joe is a great patron of the gaming community. Will spend money with him again.
Had some limited interaction with Dave, was going to talk to him at a convention when the wife spotted him but he avoided me. Not impressed when he was sent a cease and desist letter from the organizer of a convention who took umbridge at being called a Yatzi with and "N" and he removed all his videos and left up a "good bye" video with the song "Suicide is Painless" which left a lot of us questioning his mental emotional state. Then there is all the crappy content mocking people better than him that has nothing to do with games??? Yep no use for this vlogger with paid for subscriptions
Followed Tenkars Tavern's coverage of the myriad of scandals that Ken or Whit Whitman have been in for over a decade, including at least 10 Kickstarters where the money disappeared and the Kickstarter was never fulfilled. I had the displeasure to interview him, and while I wanted to see him finally make good on something, his promises of paying everyone back has proven to be an empty promise.
Informative comment on pop culture, clearly he has a slant but I find that he will generally outline the issue or controversy and I can weed through any bias on his part and make my own decisions. Regularly use him when I discover that there is some bru-ha-ha out in pop culture or social media that I was unaware of just to get up to speed. Was not enthused when he got in bed with Graph Paper Architect but then not everyone knows GPA the way I wish I did not know GPA
In my opinion Strixhaven was a piss poor product. The OGL scandal and the subsequent dribble of constant controversy from WotC that has you saying, "Its been a week, wonder what WotC is doing to alienate gamers lately" is the reason for 2 stars. They put D&D in creative commons so guess what D&D belongs to us who truly love it and we are no longer beholden to a big corporation that has no clue and no idea what it is doing.

I sat down and watched several of this mans videos, and he made a short the other day where he mocked WWII Veterans, saying that all sides during WWII did horrific things, just some more than others. His other videos where he mocks people, then baits them in comments tells me he is just a small boy in a mans body. His channel really has nothing to do with gaming, it is just him rage baiting others, then sitting back when they bite. Avoid this channel, it is a waste of time.
The company gets a lot of crap from some gamers but in the end they handle D&D one of the most loved games around. I also will note that as a D&D player that plays 3.5 they do tend to once they move to a new edition, they abandon the old one. Giving up on making new content for it, thus my 3 star review.
A solid gaming vlog, with a Monday series on making and painting minis. I think subscribing to this channel would be something that any gamer would benefit from.
