Warning signs it is a scam!

20 Mar, 2025

There are actually a lot of warning signs that you are dealing with a scammer, and most of them prey on our basic need and desire to get a good deal. Some of the most common signs of a scam are things like...

  • A seller offers products at an unbelievably low price. They have something in a group that targets that groups collectors. Like in a baseball card collector group they will show a rare card at a super low price.
  • The seller has a new social media account.
  • The seller won't meet in person, or they may be willing to meet in person, but will demand a deposit and will tell you a "lot of people" are wanting it.
  • They demand PayPal but need it sent via Friends and Family.
  • Look at their friends list, if they say they are from Cleveland Ohio, why would all of their friends be from overseas?
  • They ask for payment via gift cards.

There are so many other way, and we will in other blogs and video vlog talk about these ways, and help you be safe.
